NAWL engages in partnership with national and international nongovernmental organizations as well as line government institutions with the view to mutually reinforcing our endeavors in achieving shared goals.
We are currently in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) South Sudan in implementing the “Enhancing Access to Justice for Women and the Disadvantaged” project. This is a project in line with the National Alliance for Women Lawyers’ (NAWL) endeavor to create a nationwide human rights awareness and capacity building to community leaders, women leaders and youth to understand their rights and advocate for the protection of those rights for peaceful coexistence and confidence in institutions dealing with (custodians) of the rule of law. Juba is the project site. Partners shall include duty-bearers such as the police, prisons and judicial officials and women groups. School girls shall be reached through participation of the Girl Guides.
